They take a service that should be coming to the Nintendo Switch, and release it in a stand alone package for $80. While these titles should be arriving on the Nintendo Switch, this doesn't stop us and every one else from wanting one.
In typical Nintendo fashion units for the SNES Classic will be limited. How limited? Nintendo has released a statement detailing the release of the console which states units will be produced in the later half of 2017. This means gamers have six months so scoop up their SNES Classic before it be disappear from shelves forever.
If we had to guess we would say Nintendo will produce three or four times more units as the NES Classic, which means the console would still be tough to find year round.
